Departure from Shkodra – 07:00 AM

Your day begins in Shkodra, where you’ll board a comfortable minibus for the journey to Komani Lake. The drive passes through beautiful mountain landscapes, charming villages, and winding roads, offering excellent views of northern Albania before reaching the port.

Please arrive at the Bus Station at least 30 minutes before departure, around 06:30 AM, to allow enough time for boarding and departure.

Scenic Boat Cruise Across Komani Lake – 09:30 AM

After arriving at Komani Port, you’ll board the boat for a spectacular cruise through the famous Komani Lake. Surrounded by steep cliffs, lush mountains, and untouched wilderness, the lake is frequently compared to the Norwegian fjords. Throughout the journey you’ll enjoy incredible panoramic views, hidden coves, and traditional riverside homes nestled among the mountains.

Arrival at Shala River – 10:45 AM

Following a 1 hour and 15 minute boat ride, you’ll reach the stunning Shala River, often called the “Maldives of Albania” and the “Thailand of Europe.” Famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and spectacular mountain setting, the river offers free time to swim, relax, enjoy the scenery, and experience one of Albania’s most beautiful natural attractions.

Return to Shkodra

The return boat departs from Shala River at 14:30, taking you back across the breathtaking Komani Lake to Komani Port.

At 15:45, you’ll continue your journey by comfortable minibus back to Shkodra, bringing to an end an unforgettable day exploring one of Albania’s most spectacular natural destinations.
